Advantages: Nice smell, good results

Disadvantages: None

Eddie the dog has a gorgeous black coat and we like to keep it as shiny as possible. This includes brushing him, trying to keep him out of the mud on our walks in the country and using this shampoo which we found has been really good for his coat.

Have you ever tried to give a dog a bath? Oh my gosh, it is the funnest and wettest thing I have ever tried to do. Eddie does not really like his bath so we have to carry him to the bathtub and then we hose him down whilst he is in there and then try and shampoo and lather him up as quick as possible before he decides to shake and try and jump out of the bath soaking wet.

This shampoo has a lovely nutty smell as it contains macadamia nut oil. I love Eddie when he comes out of the bath as he smells absolutely delicious and looks really handsome with his fresh, soft hair. The macadamia nut is said to help you comb through your dogs hair easily and I definitely find that to be true. Eddie has quite long hair in places as we leave it quite long and only get him clipped every couple of months but after using this and allowing him to dry for a while its really easy to comb through his hair with a wide toothed metal comb and more importantly it doesn't hurt him when you pull at his hair. This soft look definitely lasts for a few days but I find the shine of his coat lasts even longer. As I've said above he has jet black hair and it really shines in the light and you can see its nice and sleek and has no dry bits in it or anything, he's such a cute boy.

The shampoo is specially developed for dogs and is pH neutral and adapted to your dog's sensitive skin. When I look at his skin underneath all his fur its still in great condition too and does not have any rashes or anything like that. The shampoo is easy to use, I find I only need to use a squirt or two as a little goes a long way. Then, I apply it, rub it in and wait for a few minutes before washing it off. It lathers up well and as I've said above, smells gorgeous.

It comes in a handy bottle with a flip cap lid so its quite easy to use one handed whilst holding Eddie with the other. The bottle contains 250ml and costs £3.99 and is a nice shampoo for my little boy!

Summary: Shiny coat shampoo
