      a great shampoo

With Henry our bullmastiff having suffered in the past at his previous owners from dermatitis I am always very careful about what I use on him, unlike with my old dog I wont just use any dog shampoo but when I spotted this one in Morison's for £2.95 I though we will give it a try.

This shampoo is hypo allergenic which means that it causes fewer allergy's which is great when trying to avoid a flare up of the skin like we are with Henry and his skin hasn't been effected by this shampoo at all so it obviously lives up to its claims.

It comes in a 300ml see through bottle so you can clearly see how much shampoo is left which is great for knowing when I need a new shampoo I get 7 washes of henrys fur out of one bottle of this so it is good value for money as well considering his large size. It contains camomile to help sooth and calm the skin whilst also giving you a nice shiny glossy coat.

This shampoo didn't irritate henrys skin at all which is great, left him looking lovely and smelling beautiful which is a great result in my opinion, it is a medicated type of smell not unsimilar to the human shampoo vosene but it doesn't linger on the dogs coat as long as other shampoos I have previously used do after 2 days the smell has gone, it was a little thick to put straight onto his fur like the bottle said so I diluted it in a jug of warm water first which worked brilliantly, it fetches all the dirt and dust out of his coat and the bath water was disgusting by the end of bathing him. It washes off easily too leaving Henry looking lovely and feeling very soft to the touch.

The bottle doesn't have any age restrictions on it so I assume you can use it from young to old as well as with pregnant bitches.
