Well worth 5 out of 5 stars

Buckingham Deluxe Enamelled Stainless Steel Dog Bowl

Having been struggling to find a good sized and quality bowl for my pup I decided on spending a bit more and investing in a set of these Buckingham Deluxe enamelled stainless steel 64oz bowls. If you have read any of my previous reviews you will know that I did buy a set of ceramic dishes that I was happy with apart from buying too small a size to hold his ever growing portions of food and a steel dish that was the correct size but just too light and he was forever tipping it over.

I bought these from Amazon for £7.95 each, which is expensive but then these should last for years. Looking at the quality and stylishness of these I don't begrudge paying the price.

The bowl looks really attractive. There are many colours available to choose from but I went with the classic black with engraved silver stripe pattern. The bowl has been powder coated to get the enamelled black gloss finish, which Buckingham claim is hard wearing and so far I would have to say that these still look as good as the day they were delivered.

One of the other things I really like about these bowls is that they have quite a big anti-slip rubber bottom to help prevent my pup from being able to push the bowl around the kitchen. The thick rubber strip is removable, which means that you can give it a good clean and make sure no nasty food gets stuck anywhere.

The shape of the bowls also mean that they harder to tip over and spill food or water everywhere, as the photo above shows they are a well supported shape. I wouldn't buy bowls that were any other shape now because these really do work well with a puppy that likes to tip over water bowls.

These bowls despite being large bowls (measuring 29.5cm (D) by 6cm (H)) are still light weight and not overly heavy to pick up and move around. They are also quite a reasonable depth and being 640z bowls they hold a decent amount of water and I would suspect be more than adequate for the majority of dog food needs.

Overall, I have been very pleased with my bowls and I would recommend them to other people. Although admittedly they are a bit more expensive than some of the more common varieties they look very attractive and are a great quality product. These bowls get a well earned five out of five stars from both me and the pooch.
