After having my puppy for a little while, i now feel a little more confident with her, which is why (after taking advice from my brother in law about it!), i decided to attempt to clip her claws myself, rather than the vets. When we first had her i was advised to get her dew claw removed, which is a claw that sits futher up her leg, away from the paw area, but was told that this was a practise used only for actual working dogs, and just to let it wear down naturally when she started going out for walks.
