Happy Pet Migrator Canadian Goose
When we first brought our little furry bundle home one of the first toys that we bought him was an imitation duck mallard that sort of 'Quacked-Squawked' rather than squeaked. He loved it, it instantly became a hit and I have since bought quite a few of the other toys from the Happy Pet bird soft dog toy range.
This is latest addition, the Canadian Goose, it is a cuddly imitation goose with similar colourings to the real thing, it is very soft to the touch and really reminds me of the cuddly toys that I had when I was younger. I really like the look of the goose and although it is a light coloured grey it doesn't show the dirt too badly. It is also quite a good size for larger breed puppy's and like some of his other toys I don't think that this will be too small for him as he keeps on growing.
A word of warning thou, these toys aren't really suitable for tug. I have already had to patch up a couple of his soft toys from doing this.
I really like this toy, but more importantly the puppy really likes this toy. He does like his soft toys and although he chews on them he doesn't destroy them. In fact I think he is rather gentle with his soft toys and this toy apart from a bit of loose stitching has taken the wrath of puppy teeth well. I was also able with the aid of a sewing kit to repair this goose which will hopefully increase its life longevity.
One of the best things about these toys and all the birds in the range is the 'Squawking' noise rather than just having a regular squeaky hidden inside it. These toys are great at distracting my puppy and they have been worth their weight in gold at keeping him distracted and away from our furniture. So far put boisterous pup has loved his toys more than the coffee table legs.
These toys are quite well made but they aren't indestructible. As I mentioned my pup is quite gentle with this soft toys but if your dog or puppy isn't then I doubt this toy would withstand a more boisterous play.
These toys are available to buy in pets stores and I have seen them in Pet's At Home, however, I have bought this from Amazon with left over Dooyoo miles for £5.99 (including postage and packaging). Although a tad pricey I really like these toys and the more unusual noises that they make.
Overall, these toys are great because they look good, but they are also well made. Although, I can see this toy being shredded in the future as he grows, the amount of fun he has had with it is well worth the cost. If your dog or puppy likes stuffed toys then this really is a nice one. This toy gets a five out of five stars from both of us. This is a great toy and I would happily recommend it to other people.
