I got this ball a while ago now from Pets at Home for around £3 and it overall is a great toy which has lasted extremely well with my dogs, who are all strong chewers and have played with it almost everyday. The ball has not got much packaging and was in a container full of other balls. It had a little cardboard tag attatched with the product name (studded ball with bell), which i just pulled off and put in the recycling bin. The ball is hard and made from a rubber like material with soft raised bumps which gives it the appearence of been spikey. At first my dogs were't keen on the ball due to the texture of the bumps, however they soon realised it was a ball and after discovering that it made a noise, they loved it. The bell inside isn't too loud and won't hurt your ears or get on your neighbor's nerves however it's loud enough to entertain dogs and is more of a cute jingly sound than a full blast bell ringing sound.

There was 2 different colours available, blue and red. I got the blue. The ball has a little dent hole in the top which i'm not sure what the purpose of this is but my dogs enjoy sticking the tip of there noses in it and trying to get the bell out which they haven't succeeded in so far. The ball is around the size of a tennis ball, maybe a bit smaller but not small enough for a dog to swallow however it can easily fit into the dogs mouth so the dog is able to carry it about with ease.

Because of the thick rubber material the ball has lasted for a while, around 6 months, and is unmarked apart from a bit of mud. There are no visible scuffs or teeth indentions and it looks almost good as new. The toy is waterproof however because of the little hole on the top of the ball, it does collect a bit of water inside it but this isn't a big issue with my dogs as they enjoy water and this is more of an outside toy so it doesn't come in the house and therefor i don't worry about dirty water on the floor. Because of the design, the raised bumps have a tendancy to collect dirt inbetween each one however a quick wash under the tap and it's nice and clean again.

My dogs enjoy chasing it, playing fetch with it, tormenting eachother with it and generally having fun with this ball. It is easy for dogs to play with and the sound and texture help in keeping dogs entertained. Overall i would reccomend this. A hardwearing, durable dog toy.
