This toy is worthless! But more important it is DANGEROUS. I have a bulldog puppy and a poodle. The POODLE had this thing destroyed in less than an hour. It is cheaply made and if you read the fine print it says it's "not a chew toy"...then what the heck is it supposed to be???? Don't waste your hard earned money on this. The dangerous part is the plastic comes apart in small chunks and becomes a choking hazard.
What is it?
The company claim it's the world's funniest dog toy. It is a ball and a tongue in one toy. Basically it's a rubber toy with a ball at one end, its designed so that when the dog picks up the ball in its mouth the extended tongue protrudes out of the dogs mouth so it looks like the dog is sticking a big tongue out. It gives us humans a good laugh and the dogs enjoy it too.

Cost and Availability
You can buy the Humunga Tongue at many pet shops or online at pet product stores (like petplanet) or stores such as I want one of those.com. Prices vary and are dependent on the size of the tongue you choose but range from approx £3.99 for the small tongue to £6.99 for the X-Large tongue.
How to use the Humunga Tongue
Well its not rocket science but for those of you who want some ideas here goes. You can use the tongue to play throw and fetch. Its great for taking funny photos, its great for making people smile, if they see your dog in the park or street with the Humunga Tongue sticking out then they can't help but smile. The manufacturers also suggest you can play "Tongue o'war", guess that took them a while to think up! Or you can just let your dog have a chew of it.
You should always supervise your dog when playing with the toy. Check the Humunga tongue regularly for any cracks, splits or missing pieces. Loose pieces could be harmful if swallowed and the manufacturers recommend that damaged toys be replaced.
Oscar my dog got this toy for Christmas from my brother and he loves to play with it. When we opened it I thought it looked great fun but wasn't sure if Oscar would like it as he isn't very keen on many rubber toys he tends to prefer rope toys or soft toys. However he took to it straight away but he kept picking it up upside down or holding it at the side of his mouth, thwarting our efforts to get a silly picture of him. Perhaps he is smart enough to know this was what we wanted! We tend to only let him play with it for a short time this ensures he doesn't tire of it and he gets really excited when we give it to him to play with.
It is a fun toy that gives you as much pleasure as it does the dog. And it never fails to bring a smile to peoples faces.
