Advantages: very robust

Disadvantages: none.

My dog has to be one of the most destructive dogs that I know, one of his favourite toys are ball and he goes berserk barking and leaping around if he sees you holding one. However he destroys them so quickly that I decided to buy him a selection of more hardy rubber toys and along with a ball (which he could not live without) I decided to try him with a ring. Don't we spoil our four legged friends...loll! He still thinks he is a puppy even though he is twelve need plenty of toys for him, and the squeaky ones last mere minutes. We opted to buy him a red one, although there are a number of choices in colours like yellow, green and orange, and it's lovely and bright so easy do see on the field, for the odd occasion that he thinks it would be more fun for me to retrieve it.

I bought him he 15cm sized one but they have other sizes too, making them suitable for all sized dogs. It is around an inch thick making it easy for your dog to hold in its mouth. It claims to be able float in water but have not tried that as my dog is scared of water and simple stands at the side of the lake or pond barking at the toy rather than retrieving it. The rubber is designed not to damage the dog's teeth which are always a worry with chewy toys.

It is fairly heavy and the ring travels well when thrown, and bounces too. My dog thoroughly enjoys this, although not as much as his ball but pretty close. He has had this now a few weeks which is an amazing length of time for him. We have bought cheap rubber toys for him in the past but he has simply chewed them to death, but this one seems to be holding its own. I bought mine for £3.99 from my local pet shop but I should imagine all major pet shops would have them in stock as they seem a fairly popular item. When I considered how often I was paying out two pound for a toy in the past this is really great value considering how robust and hardy it has been.

Overall I think this product is a very hardy and robust dog toy and my dog has had many hours of fun with it, I would definitely recommend even for the most destructive of dogs.

Summary: A very robust and hardy dog toy.
