I would sooner pay for this quality of product than buy cheap/poor quality and keep replacing.

I bought two of these beds, one in brown and one in red - both the large size for my two labradors, who at the time of purchase were about 8 months old. I had previously had a similar sized and shaped cheaper bed that I bought for half the price of the Wainwrights bed. However, the poor quality left it almost flat with no shape and ended up being thrown out after a short while. I must say that 8 months later and with 2 sixteen month labs the Wainwrights beds have stayed in shape despite them both sleeping side by side in each bed. The covers have been removed and washed a few times on each bed and the only fault that I can find is that the colour of the dye in the bed initially ran into the cream 'lambswool' top of the cushion. However as it was washed more, the original cream colour has returned. I also must say that the large sized beds do take up alot of floor space so I have them in different rooms. I am fairly impressed with the quality of the beds although at a cost of £75 each I would expect them to remain in a reasonably good condition for a fair period of time with average usage.
