Advantages: Good for teeth / gums.

Disadvantages: My dogs won't chew them.

I bought my dogs some Bob's Natural Rawhide Chew Chips Dog Treats - and they wanted me to write to you to let you know that to call them a "treat" should not be allowed under the trade descriptions act!! One of my dogs is quite fussy with whatever goes in his mouth, but the other one will eat virtually anything - and yet she turned her nose up and these "treats" and looked at me like I was trying to poison her! A 227g package of the Natural Rawhide Chew Chips Dog Treats cost me £4.19 from Pets at Home and so they are not terribly cheap either and there are certainly other treats that are cheaper and much more desired by my two little gorgeous pooches.

The Natural Rawhide Chew Chips Dog Treats come in strips that are quite thin and quite flimsy. They are flat and look a little bit like those chewy sweets I'm sure most of us ate as children i.e. Maom strips. They don't look terribly appetising because they have no colouring in them, and to my nose at least, they don't smell of anything, tasty or otherwise. I do like to give my dogs rawhide every now and again because it's good for their teeth and gums - however, unfortunately I think this is only the case if they actually chew on them! I have tried on several occasions to coax them into eating them, but they turn their nose up and won't be persuaded and so I'm afraid they're just going to end up in the bin.

Summary: My dogs don't like them.
