Peering through the clear plastic of the bag, they didn't look too appetising, they were simply dry orangey brown slices of carrot, each around an inch in diameter and a few millimetres thick but all the same, I opened the bag up to give one to the mutts. Reaching inside, the treats had an odd texture to them, I'd expected them to still be semi moist and therefore quite rubbery but they weren't- they were completely dry, almost brittle and quite rough in texture.
