Advantages: good on the dogs tummy

Disadvantages: maybe the price - but you do get what you pay for.

We have a lurcher (greyound/collie cross) and greyhounds are known for their sensitive tummies. Dylan (our dog) was a rescue, and the foster home he was in had been feeding him puppy Burns dog food, so we carried on and progressed him to the adult version as he got older. In that time, we have tried a couple of other equivalent dog foods Arden Grange etc, but have always gone back to Burns, and will now stick with it. It is around £40 for a 15k bag, that lasts us about a month. Dylan never ever gets a bad tummy from this food, and his pooh is always firm, and he only goes twice a day (on the other foods, he seemed to go 4 or 5 times a day!). He never has wind (unless he eats something on the beach!) and he looks forward to his breakfast and dinner every day (we mix in a smidgen of an organic wet meat).

Summary: very recommended dog food - especially for those with sensitive tummies
