      Dog food in a can

This is a complete pet food for dogs and comes in a tin with a ring pull on the lid for easy opening. The label is green and has a picture of a dog sitting on the grass. The label also tells you that it is free from artificial flavours, colours and preservatives.

      So what's in it?
The label reads as follows: minimum 4% beef, cereals, vegetables min 4%, fish & fish derivatives, vegetable protein extracts, minerals, derivatives of vegetable origin, various sugars with colourants: EC Additives.

      It has 81% moisture, 7.5% protein, oils & fats 5%, ash 2.5%, fibre 0.5%.

      Feeding Guide
If you have a small dog and only feeding this food you will need 2 cans a day, for a medium dog 2 - 4 cans, a large dog 4 - 5 cans.

Each can is 400g and costs £0.45 per can.

      What's It Like?
On opening the tin there was a lot of thick gravy on the top. On getting the meat out it was all well coated in this thick gravy. The vegetables were not too obvious in the mix. The consistency and smell almost reminded me of a stew.

Nemo liked this one and ate it quickly. The only thing I did notice was that it gave him wind later and the smell was none too pleasant.

Won't be buying him this again.
