I am a fan of Nyrabone as their bones are pretty long lasting and even if the dogs shave some of the plastic off they are digestable and so do not do harm to the dogs.
I saw these in the vets and as they were fully edible I thought they would be a good thing to try. There was a downside as they are really expensive! The medium and large ones have to be bought for my dog as medium and large are not really that big. Any smaller and the dogs would just inhale them!
A medium bone would be about £5 and a large one £7. with three dogs I was looking to pay £17 in one go. Not an every day treat. For this reason these treats were bought for a christmas present!!
The bones do smell of what is written on the front, there is also Bacon and chicken flavour!
They are quite hard, you would not be able to snap them or cut them easily in two.
My dogs liked the smell very much and verymore that keen to get their jaws around these.
They lasted a decent amount of time, but no more then a rawhide would really! These are very expensive for what they are but they do seem to have natural ingrediants and I do feel better feeding these to my dogs instead of something like Bakers or a Jumbone, however they are 5 times the price!
If I could I'd have a stash of these in my cupboards to be able to give my dogs reguarly but until I have a in on the lottery they will remain a special treat for them very ocassionally!
These are worth getting for your dogs as they are natural and look and feel very healthy. On top of that the dogs seem to like it so what could be better!
