Advantages: Looked nice to me, I got them at a bargain price
Disadvantages: Daisy didn't like em!
My best mate has a little poodle called Daisy. Daisy actually belongs to the pair of us really, splitting her time equally between us and most of the days a week she is here with both of us as me and Liz are always together and a few nights she stays here too either just with me or cos Liz is staying too.
I have a fab relationship with this amazing little dog and cos of that I am always treating her. These I got her as a treat for Christmas with a few (well ok alot) of other things! She really is a pampered pooch this one as are my hamsters lol.
I bought these in Pets at home and they cost me a pound, on offer which I thought for a Pedigree product was more than reasonable!
The multi bites comes in a bright yellow plastic packet which is really easy to tear into, secured in plain white cardboard within. On the front of the packet we are told that they are Pedigree Multi Bites 'With meat & multigrains' and that there are 8 in the packet. Other information on the back of the packet includes being given feeding instructions, the ingredients, the weight is stated which is 70g for 8 of them and contact details for the manufacturer are given. Nice enough and very informative packaging this is.
The Multi Bites Themselves:
Well what they are little rounds of textured and thick grainy, creamy coloured bites really. They are a nice thickness and basically have a meaty smell to my nostrils to them and are made up from wheat, maize and oats and 4% meat though we are not told which meat it is as well as some unamed vegetables. Feeding advice tells us that small dogs should have no more than 2 of these a day, a medium sized dogs up to 4 of them and for large dogs that they're ok with up to 6 of them and of course they are treats!
Although these look ok to me, are a nice size for a small dog too, Daisy dog hates them with a passion! She sniffs it in my hand and walks away its that simple. I even tried my hamsters with a nibble and even they didn't like them so they get a thumbs fown from me I'm afraid. None have teeth marks in them even before they got binned lol.
I wouldn't buy them again though I am sure that they're are the usual high standard from the people at Pedigree but if Daisy don't like them then neither do I lol.
Available in all good pet shops and supermarkets etc at around the £2.00 a packet of 8 mark.
Summary: Rubbish and a waste of my money!
