== Lalaloopsy Crumbs Sugar Cookie Mini Doll ==
Back in 2010 M.G.A Entertainment released a new creation the Lalaloopsy dolls , my daughter then aged 3 years was transfixed by the bright colourful and very girly adverts that were showing on Nickjr. And that's where the love of all things loopsy began.
Originally ... there were just 8 dolls released in series 1 , and Crumbs Sugar Cookie is one of those original 8. She is still one of the most popular Lalaloopsy dolls and have been released again in different mini doll sets and wearing different clothes. I know we have some series 9 dolls, and with usually 8 dolls is each series you can imagine how many dolls there are now, all unique in their own way . They promote the idea that old can become new with the doll's being created from old material .The ethos around the design is that it teaches children that everybody is unique in their own special way.
According to company press releases, the dolls were, "Designed to encourage a child's imagination and creativity" and "teach important life lessons such as diversity, individuality and the idea that everything deserves a second life."
Crumbs was one of the 1st Lalaloopsy mini dolls we bought , at the time i had to order them all off the internet but now 2 years on they are popping up everywhere . The R.R.P of the mini dolls is £5.99 but i usually get them from the toyshop.com for £4.50 .
== The Box==
Like all mini Lalaloopsy dolls , Crumbs comes in her own house shaped box. The house is basically the box , with the dolls packaged between 2 clear plastic boxes at the front . Once you cut around on the back of the box the front comes away and your house is ready , the door is perforated for easy opening. The houses do vary slightly in shape but are all roughly 10 cms across and 15 cms high. They are made from a smooth coated cardboard , and have a wider base so they do stand independently .
The boxes, if prevented from getting squashed are still going strong and a nice extra play item.
Crumbs's house is decorated to look like a cookie shop / cafe , with a menu on the wall and picture of her pet mouse and lots of sugary sweets on the outside .
== The Doll ==
Crumbs Sugar Cookie is a 3 inch mini doll . She comes wearing a pink dress , with yellow gingham check pinny , pink knee high baseball boots , and has bright pink hair. The mini dolls are solid dolls and you can not undress them , but the arms and legs are movable and they will stay in the sitting position .
Her personality says because of her sugary-sweetness and big heart, Crumbs is very well known and liked. Often her time is spent baking, and when it isn't, she's more than likely setting up a tea party and inviting friends over for some treats.
Crumbs Sugar Cookie has perfect manners at all times and while she is gentle and kind, she can also be stern when she has to be.
== Accessories ==
Crumbs comes with her very own pet mouse , he is tiny but exactly the same as the pet mouse that comes with the large dolls , well except his ear hasn't been nibbled ! .
Crumbs also comes with a heart shaped bowl complete with cookie mixture, A spoon , and a tray of heart shaped cookies .
These are tiny but well made with lots of detail and fit the whole theme of the doll.
== Thoughts ==
Crumbs was one of our 1st Lalaloopsy mini dolls , and is still one of my daughter's favourite dolls . She is bright and pretty and loves cookies what is not to love about her . Our Crumbs has been loved and played with for 2 years now , we still have all the tiny accessories which just proves how much it has been cherished .
These dolls are perfect for imaginative play , and the perfect size for small hands to hold and take with them, or pop in your bag.
My daughter loves to re-enact the Lalaloopsy dvd with her dolls , and will play along with them while she is watching clips on the Lalaloopsy website as well as making up a whole range of stories of her own .
My daughter also loves to learn about their personalities and mirrors that in her play using it to create stories that would be true to Lalaloospy life . She also remembers which pet and accessory go with each doll so good for memory skills too .

Bratz Xpress it Sashal

WHAT IS IT?
A Bratz doll that is wearing very pretty clothes and is from the Xpress It range.
THE DOLL
Sasha is a black doll with brown skin and very dark brown glossy hair. Her hair is very long on the Xpress It doll and I had to cut the ends off my daughters because it went very tattered, I cut it ... blunt and it has stayed tidy looking since then now it is a little bit shorter.
The clothes are very feminine and pretty and the doll has feet that you can take off and on, she is wearing pink high heeled shoes but Sasha is not so versatile as other Bratz dolls because the skin on her feet is black so you cannot put a white Bratz foot on. That is a pity because my daughter has only 2 Sasha dolls so she does not have very many selection of shoes for her.
ACCESSORIES
Xpress It Sasha comes with an outfit of a lacey white top, a ballerina skirt and silver footless tights. She has 2 feet with pale pink heeled shoes. Apart from her clothes the doll comes only with a little star shaped hairbrush. I like the hairbrushes that come with Bratz dolls because they work very well on the hair and keeps it looking nice. Her tights and top ripped a long time ago and I threw those away, they were ok when they were on the doll but it was when my daughter removed them that they ripped and I do not know if that was because she was too rough with them.
WHAT I THINK
I like the Sasha doll from Xpress It but was not very happy about the clothes ripping so easy. I like that my daughter has kept her hair smooth because it is a beautiful colour and I am happy to see it has not gone tattered like most Bratz hair. Sasha has got a very beautiful face and is wearing glitter for lipstick, I think that makes her look very glamorous and she is exotic looking comparing to other Bratz because of her skin colour.
I like that the dolls arms and legs move because that makes her flexible when my daughter plays with it. She is a dancing doll so that is what my daughter plays most of all, she has competitions with some of her other Bratz and Barbie dolls for dancing and singing.
WHAT MY DAUGHTER THINKS
My daughter has liked both of her Sasha dolls for a long time and this doll is about 5 years old. She has played with her a lot and replaced her ripped white top with another one but a pink one, she has kept the skirt with the doll and I am glad because it looks very pretty against the dolls dark skin.
I have said already that the shoes are a problem because she has only one other pair of dark skinned feet so there is not very much choice comparing to other Bratz dolls. My daughter likes that the hair is very long even since I have cut it and that she can put it in a lot of styles easy.
ANYTHING ELSE
I bought my daughters Xpress It Sasha from a toy store near to my home where they have got a big choice of Bratz and Barbie dolls, I paid about £15 and think that is value because my daughter likes it very much.
