I purchased this doll's house hoping that my previous negative experiences with Early Learning Centre toys would be quashed. I should have known better!

The age range states the doll's house is suitable from 3 years; however I would say it really is only suitable from 4 or 5. I bought this for my daughter when she was 3 1/2 and have had nothing but problems with it. OK, she may have been a little heavy handed with the doll's house, but to constantly have her coming up to me every 5 minutes saying, "Mummy the door has come off... Mummy the window has come off" suggests to me that either the quality is rubbish or that this item is only suitable for older children.

I paid £80 for this doll's house; and for this much money you don't even get a piece of furniture! Therefore you have to buy all the additional packets of furniture which start from £15. So, to kit out the whole doll's house, you are looking at between £140- £200 depending on what you buy. I feel this is an extortionate mount of money, and for something that breaks constantly! All the furniture is wooden and my daughter also managed to break most of this too.

The doll's house opens up quite wide; it has two front opening parts and the roof also opens to create a large playing space. The roof and two front parts are quite flimsy but they haven't broken as of yet!

The doll's house is pleasant to look at with sweet rose decorations and is wooden which is also an attractive look. However, even if it is pleasant to look at, I would not recommend it to anyone. It breaks far to easily and is so expensive for what it is.
