Advantages: Very sturdy and durable
Disadvantages: Its a bit small for older children.
My daughter started to play with dolls when she turned 2. She absolutely loved them and she still does! She will feed them and bath them; she insists that they have to sit at the table with us when we are eating! Last Christmas we decided to buy her a pram with all of the accessories, changing mat, travel cot etc. It wasn't until we had bought it my dad told me that he had bought her a pram. Not wanting him to feel bad, I didn't tell him we had already got one.
Come Christmas she was spoilt for choice, but she did prefer the one that granddad had got her, the Fisher Price My Baby Newborn Stroller. This set actually had the carry car seat and the doll with it.
The pram itself is really pretty. It is a lovely shade of pink with a green handle and green wheels.
Putting it up myself, I did find it relatively easy; it took around 10 minutes or so. The pram is very sturdy; it's not like some of the flimsy strollers you can get. Due to the larger wheels it stays upright and is easy to push and control.
My daughter has used many different sized dolls in the pram, but it's not a large size, so will only fit the average sized dolls. It's also at a great height for little ones to push so it would be a bit too small for older children. It states on the packaging that it is suitable for ages 3-4. I don't think this will get the use out of the pram at all as it is such a small age gap. Saying that my daughter has been using this since she was 2 and I think it will last until she is 4 then we will have to upgrade to a bigger pram. However depending on how generous Santa is feeling, she may be getting a new one this year!
The pram also has an attachment, a little play bar that you would find on babies rockers and things like that. It has 2 dangling butterflies attached which have stickers for you to put on yourself. This comes with the pram. It also has a hood, which lifts up and down, just like on a normal pram and has a Velcro strap that keeps dolls secure in the pram.
Overall I think this is a great pram, in my opinion it is suitable for ages 2 + there are no small parts or sharp edges and it is of a perfect height for that age. It is very durable; this pram has been on many trips to the park and is still in one piece and in relatively good condition.
I would definitely recommend this pram, I would also advice people to look at the deluxe set which contains the doll and carry car seat. It is around £5.00 more than the pram alone which costs £20.00. So definitely worth taking a look at buying the set as that is just as good quality as the pram.
