A beautiful collectable for the Betty Boop fanatic

This is the Betty Boop figurine that has a lot to answer for, as she was the very first that I purchased a couple of years ago and is now part of a huge collection. I've admitted in several previous reviews and will admit again, I am a Betty Boop fanatic and love collecting these beautiful figurines, although I am seriously starting to run out of storage space!

Betty Boop Red Devil is made from resin and is manufactured by Hearst Holdings Inc, the owners of the Betty Boop trademark. She stands at 30 cms in height and weighs just over a kilogram.

There are a few variations of this figurine, as her cute little horns are painted in different colours and there is also a limited edition collectable, which I was lucky enough to obtain, where Betty wears a black and silver glitter dress.

The figurine as shown in the photograph I provided to Dooyoo as above, wears a red Cruella Deville style red dress, which displays a stunning gothic style spiky collar and has been designed to stand outwards from Betty's neck.

The dress hugs her curvaceous figure and fantails at the floor into an array of gorgeous spiky edges. Betty's sleeves are tightly fitted around her upper arms and flow into huge spikes from her elbows down to her tiny wrists. I absolutely adore this gothic style dress and would love to be able to wear a life size version just for one night!

This figurine even displays Betty with a long curly tail, which protrudes from her rear end and sweeps around her lower left leg with a large red arrow on its' end. I had wanted to provide a photograph to Dooyoo of the black dress Betty, but unfortunately as it is a limited edition figurine, it is no longer available for sale. My reasons for this were that the colours are simply beautiful and both the arrow and horns are painted in silver, which co-ordinate perfectly with Betty's black and silver dress.

On this figurine, Betty has two cute red horns situated on the top of her head and located behind them on each side are three curvy points to depict her stunning black curls. As Betty is a jewellery fanatic, this figurine shows her wearing a pair of large yellow hooped earrings. However, for some reason, the black dress figurine shows her wearing no jewellery whatsoever.

To complete her devil outfit, Betty carries a traditional red devil fork in her right hand, which has been made from plastic and ideally should fit safely in her open hand with the lower end resting against the spikes on the lower section of her dress. However, the fork constantly slips and falls to the ground, so I've had to secure it with the aid of a little blue tac.

This is a simply stunning figurine and was the reason I started collecting so many Bettys! On the underside of Betty's dress, you are able to check the collectable's authenticity, as it displays a tiny image of Betty Boop, which is the official stamp of Hearst Holdings Inc.

If you are interested in purchasing this gorgeous collectable, it is currently available on Amazon for £38.99 plus £4.65 postage and packing.
As this is such a cute figurine, it receives 5 out of 5 dooyoo stars from me.

I hope you found my review useful and would thank you for reading.
