This lovely toy can accommodate all sorts of passengers and is likely to be played with and last.

      What are Lalaloopsies?
The real Lalaloopsies are apparently rag dolls but these figures are the mini-lalaloopsies, the size of my finger and made of hard plastic. They have big heads and a funny jointed waist which makes their very narrow legs wobble and means that they can't stand up. This doesn't bother my daughter though who received two of these buses for her sixth birthday (she had been lobbying hard - perhaps too hard!)

      What do you get?
The bright yellow bus comes with a Lalaloopsy called Bea, a miniature traffic cone, suitcase and a strange sort of owl creature, all made of plastic.

      What is the bus like?
The bus has orange and pink wheels (in that two are orange and two are pink), with molded 'pencil' shapes along the side of the bus (the sort with the eraser on the end that always gets chewed off). The seats have little bits of elastic attached to act as seat-belts - and the Lalaloopsies, with their funny legs, do need these to stay on the seat. It also has a STOP sign which swings out from the side of the bus (and I'm impressed that it's still attached to both of our buses). The entrance of the bus is at the back - the door swings down to make a little slide for them to come out of. I like this idea and think it should be introduced (but from the top of double-decker buses to make it more worthwhile!!) The down side of this is that it comes off very easily and the doors can usually be found at the bottom of the toy-box. However, they clip back on very easily so this isn't an issue.

My daughter only has three of these mini-lalaloopsies - not enough to fill one bus - but the buses are usually seen traveling around our living room in convoy with the first filled with Sylvanian Families and the second with wooden dolls house dolls (The Playmobil figures also get the occasional ride!)

      How well does it last
My daughter is a very robust tester of toys - they do have a tendency to break when she plays with them - so I am very pleased to report that after two months both buses are still going strong. The buses look as though they might be flimsy but I'm very glad to report that they are not.

The usual price for this bus is £14.99 although if you shop around you can usually get it for about £10.

This is a lovely toy that can accommodate all sorts of passengers and is likely to last and be played with for a long time.

Great play, great value, great fun.

Lalaloopsy school bus with Bea Spells-A-Lot mini doll and accessories .

Firstly what or who are the Lalaloopsy dolls, they are rag dolls each made from a piece of fabric that magically came to life when their last stitch was sewn. They each have their own unique names, personalities and date of sewn [ on their bottoms] Each doll comes with her [ or his as there are a 3 boy dolls too] own pet and accessories that co-ordinate with them. There are currently over 80 unique Lalaloopsy dolls with new ones coming out all the time. They are made my M.G.A. Entertainment.

My daughter has been a Lalaloopsy fan for over 2 years now , having first seen them on television adverts on Nickjr. At the time they had just come out in the uk and started with 8 different dolls . Bea Spells-A-Lot is one of the original 8. One of the first play sets to come out was this school bus that comes with a mini Bea Spells-A-Lot and her accessories.

        The bus.
The bus itself is 20 cms long, 12 cms high, and 13 cms wide. It is a made from a solid plastic and is a simple push-a-long toy so no need for batteries. The details on the bus are gorgeous, from the pencils above and below the window frames and rulers along the side, to the giant button wheels in bright pink and orange. A lot of thought and attention has gone into the details. The windows and top of the bus are all open and easily accessible by children's hands.
The front of the bus continues with the detail with button headlights , and the back has a very cool slide opening which can be clipped up when the bus is in motion , but pulls down just as easily for your Lalaloopsy to slide out .
There is also a stop sign on the side that flicks out for that all important school stop.

Inside the bus there are 3 bench style seats that seat 2 Lalaloopsy dolls each, cleverly they have put a elasticated seat belt on each one to hold your Lalaloopsy in place when on the move [ and i always think it's nice to replicate something the children have to do, re the seat belts] The seats are in the style of erasers another lovely little detail . At the front there is a large pink steering wheel button for Bea to safely drive her friends to school .

        Bea Spells-A-Lot
With the bus comes Bea Spells-A-Lot and her accessories. She is a mini plastic doll of about 7cms high. This is what Bea's personality says about her .Bea was made from a school girls uniform, she is a real smarty pants who always follows the rules and loves to talk a lot ! She was sewn on October 16th which is Dictionary Day [ us calendar]

She has orange hair and bright blue eyes and is wearing a cute little dress, knee high socks and boots.
She comes with her pet owl wearing a cap and giving a cheeky wink , a school bag/ lunch bag complete with apple and worm and a traffic cone in case of breakdown.
The accessories are tiny but the detail is not forgotten and they make this set that extra bit special.

We bought our bus about 2 years ago from Toys R Us for £14.99 considering the doll on her own is £5.99 r.r.p i think that this set is great value.
The quality is excellent and i can't praise it highly enough. The slide at the back stays where you want it to and doesn't fall off , the elastic seat belts are just fab at keeping the dolls safe and my daughter can put them in and take them out by herself . She has had hours and hours of imaginary play with this and she often takes it in the car or to Grandma's house it has definitely been well worth the money.
