Advantages: Big with plenty of space

Disadvantages: Hard to buy now and no dolls included

Although my daughter isn't a huge Barbie fan at the moment she does enjoy playing with toys such as camper vans and cars and since she loved the idea of air planes I couldn't resist getting her this Barbie one.

The description:

The aeroplane is large and quite heavy for a small child to pick up and move. It does have wheels on the bottom though, which means that it can still be enjoyed and pushed along. The aeroplane is light blue in colour and it has creamy coloured wings and it also displays the Barbie logo.

The plane opens up in the middle by lifting the side all the way up. Inside there are 3 seats all together they can move back and forth and also recline. The seats are bright Pink. Also inside are over -head storage compartments where luggage can be placed as in a real flight. Also included is a food cart with cans, cups and food trays and 2 bright pink suitcases.

The back of the Aeroplane also has a storage compartment where the trays and the items can be stored when the Aeroplane is closed up.

The front of the plane is obviously the cockpit, in here there are lots of different controls (for show). By pressing a button in the cock pit real plane sounds can be heard. The plane also has a real CB radio.

The age range:

The age range for this plane is 4-8 years I can understand why as there are a few small parts.

The price:

It is actually very hard to purchase this plane now, if not impossible from a store as I think it was actually discontinued to a new model plane being released. If you check sites such as amazon you can still find the plane available however and it costs a little under £40.00. This is a bargain considering the toy you are getting is extremely well made and durable. It has plenty of accessories and all of the features make realistic play.

Overall:

My daughter loves to play with this aeroplane. It provides hours of fun for her and to be honest most of the time she doesn't even use Barbie dolls in it she prefers to use her Mickey Mouse and friends beanies. There are no Barbie dolls free with this plane so you do have to purchase those separately but I'm sure Barbie fans will probably have a few at home. I would definitely recommend this plane I must admit that it isn't as bright and attractive as the newer models but it is a lot cheaper.

Summary: Great toy thats very realistic
