My daughters first began colecting the in my pocket range around three years ago when puppy in my pocket first came back out and it has progressed from there.
The pony in my pocket range came out just before my daughters sixty birthday last year and with her being horses crazy it seemed like a nice addition to the sets they already had so I got her the stables and show jumping from argos and at the same time saw these on a buy one get one free offer which was realy good for us as we have two gils very close in age but may not be so good for others as the rwo set are exactly the same.
I paid ten pounds for these each set came in a nice little cardboard box which has pictures of the ponys on it, inside the box there is a sealed plastic bag with ten different ponys in each one being a different colour and in a different pose. The ponys have a lovely velvet covering making them look and feel hairy like a real pony and have realistic hair as a tail and main.
My daughters love these and even after over a year still play with them a lot, they are a fun addition to the other sets but wouldn't be as much fun on there own.
I have two young daughters who are at the ages for two and four years old. They are very girly girls and day my friend took them out to spoil them and to give me a break. They ended up coming homes with a little tiny horse each which the two of them wouldn't put down. I asked my friend where she got them from but as they had been in so many shops that day she couldn't remember. So I searched for them and ended up finding them in ARGOS so I buying them for my two children who were very happy to receive them as a gift.
As you an see there are a few different coloured ponies in this pack 10 to be exact. The are the size of a AA battery but a bit wider obviously. I would not recommend them for small children unless they can be trusted not to put them in their mouth. The have been given a guideline of suitable from four years old but my 2 year old loves these and doesn't put them in her mouth so I let her away with playing with them.
The hourse are fuzzy and made of felt. They look rather cute if I am honest. They don't made any noise which leaves me with the question as to why my children like them so much but I suppose it is just one of them things. I just asked my daughter and she informed me that it is her baby and she is the mummy and she has to look after them lol. Fair enough I suppose.
It has the Lion mark on it but for those of you that don't know, Lion Mark is a symbol of Toy Safety. All our toys are tested for compliance with exactly the same approved safety standard.
****Where From And How Much?****
Just a little bit more information about the product that you will probably already know is that that there are different ways that you can order the product. You can phone the store to either reserve and pick up or get them to deliver it but it is an 0845 number that will cost you a pretty penny or you can visit:
which lets you reserve to pick up and tells you what store has got what items that you are wanting in stock or you can also use the website to get them do deliver which I feel is better as this save you money on a telephone call. But please note that there is a delivery charge of £5.80 so bare that in mind if you do wish you get it delivered.
I f I had of bought this on its own I would of paid £9.99 for them which is just far too much for tiny little ponies that don't do anything to be honest. Luckily you can buy it and another (selected) item from ARGOS for 2 for £15 so that works out at £7.50 which I think is reasonable enough for them.
If you bought this product and for what every reason you are not happy with it. I had enclosed the direct page below with all the relevant information that you will need take the product back. You can find this at:
A fellow reviewer informed me that lots of cash back sites pay out on Argos orders so you could get it even cheaper! So if you are a member of any of these sites then you will find this bit of information useful and for those that don't maybe think about joining one to save some pennies.
****My Overall Opinion****
I think that if your children are like mine, kind, caring, and have an interest in horses then I would recommend that you buy a pack. There is also another set that you an buy which I will be reviewing some time in the new future. They are called I love my pony and foal pack which is available to search on the ARGOS website which is listed as above and is also in the 2 for £15 section.
Considering everything that I have listed as above I would rate this product a 10 out of 10.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review I hope that it is of some use to you. Thanks again for reading it is very much appreciated.
