WHAT ARE THEY?
Twin baby Friesian cow figures from Sylvanian Families. They are an add on to the Buttercup Friesian cow family.
One cow is sitting up and the other is crawling. They have got distinctive black markings on their faces but their bodies are plain white, that spoil them a bit because their romper suits only cover a small part of their body so the white stands out and the figures look unfinished. The suits are very basic but because the babies are so small it doesn't look bad. I like the face on the sitting figure but the crawling one has the features of a pig instead of a cow.
WHAT I THINK
I like these babies but the standard isn't as high as usual and one of them has a head that wobbles very loosely. The sitting figure is very stable and the crawling one is too but that one does wobble around a bit if it's not on a solid surface. They look nice together, my daughter doesn't own the Friesian cow family but she plays with these babies a lot because they are so very sweet.
The figure that sits up will sit in the Sylvanian high chair that my daughter has and that makes them more fun and versatile. The crawling baby does not do so much but sometimes my daughter changes their outfits round so that it looks like a different figure is being fed in the high chair.
The feet on these figures get very dirty and I cannot get them clean now, this is because of them being white but the fur is quite rough compared to other Sylvanian Family figures and one of the feet feels like it's going bald now. This has made these babies look very old but my daughter has not had them for long.
