As with many of the other reviews I have read about this wooden dolls house, I also purchased this model for my daughter last Christmas, however we weren't so luck as others have been to pick one up half price from toys r us, I paid around £70 for this item including the furniture from EBay.

Last Christmas I found that there weren't a lot of choice when it came to purchasing a wooden dolls house at a reasonable price, therefore that's why we chose this particular one, as it came complete with all the furniture and dolls, (over 100 pieces including tiny pots and pans), therefore no extra spending as we found with the wooden dolls house from the Early Learning Centre, where you have to purchase all of the room furniture and the dolls separately.

The wooden doll's house came flat packed, but it had all of the holes pre drilled and it was quite easy as it came with simple to follow instructions and the screws we needed.

My daughter still plays with it now most days, it is the best thing we have ever bought her and she was over the moon when Santa placed it under her Christmas tree last year! (What else could any parent wish for?)

It is dull in colour, however it could be painted. (I haven't painted ours.)

The dolls house is 4 floors high; it has 7 rooms including the loft room.
Its measurements are: W 55cm x D 21cm x H 69cm

Some of the pieces which come with the dolls house are very small, therefore I would recommend full supervision with smaller children, or remove the tiny items until they are a little older.
