We bought our daughter the Baby Born Quad Car for Christmas. It's a remote control car for baby borns to sit on whilst the child uses the remote control pad to drive it around.

Note: it does not come with the head gear or any accessories!

It cost £25.00 from amazon at the time of purchase and I would say it was a good buy considering some of the things you can get for that price for baby born!

There's not much to it really, it's well built and does not have to be put together, we literally got it out of the box added the batteries and away she went. There is a little clear plastic holder thing which could easily get broken if left lying around I guess, this is what holds the baby born in place so that she doesn't fall off. It's really easy to control and it really does look like she's driving it, our daughter has used it both in doors and out doors and she loves it.

It does fit other dolls and animals too as they have been tried and tested believe me! and if they go at some speed then there are likely to be accidents!!

Noise: it isn't quiet but it isn't a horrendous noise although I can hear us saying 'take that away and play with it somewhere else' so it is annoying after a while.

It takes a 6 big batteries and it uses them pretty quickly too if used a lot. The remote is very responsive.

We did have one funny incident on boxing day; we were sitting in our lounge and the remote control was in the back of the car not being touched and suddenly the car whired into action and started moving on it's own. I thought my husband was up to mischief but he looked as shocked as I did! then it stopped and we forgot until about a few hours later and it did it again, going round our lounge on it's own!! we were a bit freeked out by then so I asked my neighbour later - had her son had anything remote for Christmas that he used on boxing day - she said yes he'd had a robot and so there we discovered that the only unfortunate could be that your neighbour's remote control could be on the same wave length and control your car!! Actually in reality they are very rarely playing with the toy at the same time!

All in all a great toy and a good buy I feel.
