Sesame Street has got to be one of the most famous streets in the world, with more international star power than Coronation Street, its influence arguably reaching far wider than that of Downing Street, and its financial standing could well be faring rather better than Wall Street in recent times! In fact, the show is so iconic that for the 40th Anniversary celebrations this month the First Lady of the show's home country, Michelle Obama, will appear on the show as well as other guest stars including Hugh Jackman and Cameron Diaz (Hula Hoops optional). For most of us Sesame Street was a regular presence in our lives as children, and the appeal certainly hasn't waned over the last four decades.
