Epson FX 2180 ... volume of 7.5 million lines, and a print head life of approximately 300 million characters. It comes as standard with a push-tractor at the rear and moveable push tractor at the front which can be repositioned to give pull from bottom or front paths and push/pull from the rear. In addition, cut sheet can be fed manually from front or rear. The operator panel has five buttons and several LEDs to signal selections made.

The FX-2180 supports a range of optional interfaces allowing users to connect to IBM and Mini Mainframes with Coax and Twinax interfaces, Apple Macs with the LocalTalk interface, and networks with the Ethernet Network Interface card. Optional buffer, serial, and parallel interfaces are also available.
