The printers can handle one- to six-part continuous forms with carbon, fan-folded, edge perforated from 1 to 12 inches long and 3 to 17 inches wide, as well as multiple-thickness forms with paper weight of 15 to 100 pounds and a maximum thickness of 0.025 inches (0.64 mm), and forms with all approved types of interleaf edge attachments.

For true open systems printing with workstations, mainframes, and PC applications, the LGplus family supports a variety of printing languages and protocols including DEC ANSI, IBM Proprinter, and Epson, as well as VGL and PGL. Equipped with a high-performance RS232/RS422 serial port and either an IEEE P1284, Centronics, or Dataproducts parallel interface, the LGplus printers work in Windows, Windows NT, OpenVMS, and Tru64 UNIX environments.

The lower-cost pedestal model LGL5plus is perfect for shorter batch jobs in which quick and easy access to printer output is needed. Forms can be loaded from the front and the printer is well-suited for shop-floor printing operations where noise is not an issue.
