Advantages: lovely scent, silky smooth legs, firming agents
Disadvantages: the price
So apart of my beauty Dr. Hauschka beauty hamper included the Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Body Moisturiser, researching the price and this retails at just under £23 which I think is an acceptable price for a branded product that lasts long and works well however this is only a 145ml bottle so this does not last long at all because the consistency is quite thick, despite the pump action lid this does not spread far so using this head to toe every day will have a damaging side effect on your bank balance. Personally I wouldn't pay this price for this product but I would consider paying this price for a moisturiser that goes further than this.
The packaging again is plain and simply some think it's dated but I think that it's fine ,it's the product that matters. I love fruit smelling products and this smells like Lemons in case you never guessed from the title of the product, the smell is really invigorating and uplifting, after several hours of having this on the scent was still noticeable upon my skin which I was really pleased about although this can clash with certain perfumes if you are not careful.
Spreading this is easy but it doesn't go far at all but luckily this soaks in really well so by the time I get to the top of my body my feet are dry and moisturised which I think is one of the best things about this product. Feeling my skin afterwards it was very soft and supply but after around two weeks of using this I noticed I didn't need to use as much and my skin was soft on it's own but of course I continued to use the product until it was all used up.
This moisturiser contains extracts of firming Field Horsetail and fortifying Sage and these apparently both help to keep your skin firm and toned, I can see any results that suggest it did or didn't do that however it did nourish my skin a lot and I didn't realise how dehydrated it must of been, my skin felt lighter and cleaner and it was brighter as well which I didn't expect so it really did look healthier all over.
This is a really good product with visible results in a few weeks and touchable results from day 1, looking at the ingredients and this contains 5 different oils in it and yet it doesn't feel greasy or oily and doesn't leave your skin feeling that way either although I have to say this also have peanut in it so please beware if you have an allergy, on some websites I've noticed it doesn't say this clearly anywhere so you must read the ingredients list. I won't go out of my way to buy this product myself but if someone asked me if I wanted a gift from their range I would definitely say this Lemongrass Body Moisturiser.
Summary: not something would go out of my way to buy
