WWF Royal Rumble (DC):
... a huge wrestling fan and having Played Smackdown on the PSX at the time, I was completely shocked when I walked into my local games shop and seen WWF Royal Rumble on the shelve exclusively for the Dreamcast. Being such an impulsive shopper at the time, I whipped out my Visa and planked down £250 to get the system along with this game and Virtua Tennis. My thinking that the Tennis game would very rarely feature ... Read the full review: Ready to Rumble? Not really! by briangilmour |

Giant Killers (DC) ... you ve loved Championship Manager and their ilk on any system you care to name, then you would be right in expecting a football management game for the Dreamcast that is worthy of this systems awesome ability to entertain. Unfortunately, Giant Killers looks like it was coded in 1985. As management sims go, this has the least likely looking, and most maddeningly unsatisfying payoff, ever (perhaps) devised. Management sims are a rare breed of game where the graphics and usual accoutrements you automatically expect of other games, are not supposed to matter. Thing is though - they do matter. Simple text only games died out for good reason decades ago and thought this on... Read the full review: Can you spell 'O.l.d.S.c.h.o.o.l"? by jon scanlon |

Phantasy Star Online Version 2 (DC) ... review of Phantasy Star Online Version 2 which only considers the offline aspect of the game!* I don t believe there are significant differences between this and the first version of the game to warrant going for one over the other. While the official servers are down there are means of playing this game (or any other PSO title) online. However, for those who do not know enough to get it set up (like me) is it worth it for the offline experience? Firstly, there are a handful of unique character types to choose from, and then it s off to the Hunter s Guild - undertaking quest missions here sums up offline in a nutshell. The story - whatever there is of it - is not a re... Read the full review: Phantasy Star Offline by scream4bruce |

Capcom Vs SNK (DC) ... upon a time, a game like Capcom Vs. SNK, or Capcom Vs. SNK: Millenium Fight 2000 to give it it s full title, would never and could never have existed. But this was back in the good old days when Capcom and SNK s 2D fighting games ruled the arcades, and names like Fatal Fury, King of Fighters, Streetfighter and Darkstalkers wouldn t bring up a confused expression on young gamers faces, it probably would have got them giddy with excitement. How things change, and in an effort to keep the genre alive, it s two main forces combined their efforts in 2000 to create this game, every fanboy s wet dream for the past however many years. I can remember this had just been relea... Read the full review: Will this be a future legend? by Wolfzilla |
