Before I say anything else, I must say this - this is the most boring game I have ever played in my life. I cannot believe they would even make a game that is this pointless. Whoopee, I can do a roll. The play control is pretty good, though. If you want to learn to do anything in formation, though, it takes about a month to learn. Only the most serious flight-sim fanatics should even think about renting this pitiful excuse for a game. Even when it says your speed is mach 20, it seems as if you are going about 10 miles per hour, especially when you are flying close to the ground. When i played this game the first thought that came into my head was "Ohhh my god what is this". This game is slow, dull, boring, too hard and very repetitive. I would not reckomend this game to anyone who isnt a true flight sim fanatic and even then i would think twice about it. As you have probably gathered I do not like this game and it is no shock to me that most magasines rated this game on avarage with a 3 out of 10. It is no wonder that this game is £10 ... The Dreamcast has a lot of amazing titles in its library, and I would class Aero Wings as one of them. If you have ever seen an air display, and loved it, then you will love this game! First of all the graphics in this game are not the greatest, but when you are going as fast as the game runs they don?t seem too bad, on the other hand the planes are extremely detailed and you will see some familiar plane designs such as the F-15 and the Japan Air Force Training plane. The regular game-play mode is hard and the instructor will be disappointed at you for not staying in formation but otherwise its fun and adds a new challenge that is not in all the other jet games. I think this game is really boring, i normally enjoy flite-sims, but this has nothing to it, it has a couple of easy tests to do and then you just fly around doing nothing, its really boring. it could of been so much better,ie, more to do, like fly in and out of tight objects, or it would of been really cool if you could do some stunts(apart from loop and barrel role) in the game, which woulg get you more points, but it doesnt have anything like that, one good thing is the jets/planes, some of them are really cool looking and can go damb fast, but thats it. ...
