... addition to this game is that you can pick up a group of two to four people at one time. Even though it'll take a long time to drop each passenger off at a different location, it's worth it when the humongous fare and tip are added to your total. You can pick out the groups by the blue circle floating over their heads, in addition to which you'll see several cheerleaders, '70s-style groovsters, and rockabilly dudes frantically waving you down. The game play will be instantly familiar to anyone who has playe...more

It's time to make some crazy money. Are you ready? Crazy Taxi 2 seems to be a last-gasp effort from Sega to appease angry owners of its disowned gaming machine. And though the cab-induced mayhem in this sequel is just as addictive as last year's Crazy Taxi, it's apparent that the game company wasn't out to create the deeper, more innovative game many were hoping for. The new aspects that were added to the game are certainly welcome however. The arcade-style game still revolves around picking up customers and transporting them to there requested destination within a time limit, but this time your driving skills will be tested on the ...  Read the complete review

Crazy Taxi was an arcade classic which almost everyone one has played, whether it be on the DC, PS2 or in an arcade. It is everywhere and it is an arcade favourite. The basic idea of crazy taxi and crazy taxi 2 is to pick up a customer and take them to a required destination within a certain time. The faster you got the person to the destination the more money and time you will be given. These are the basic rules and you have to be quick in order to win. Crazy Taxi was a complete success and the music, characters and levels were all arcade classics. This game was ported from the arcade into the consoles exactly the same with extra levels and bonus fun ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Crazy Taxi 2 (DC): Drive the pram! (302 words)

The original Crazy Taxi became the most played game in my house when I first got a dreamcast, we loved the fast action, fun characters, and the challenge was on to get the most passengers, and the most cash! I live in a house very close to my place of work, and colleagues regularly come round - Crazy Taxi quickly became our principle occupation! I was really excited when Crazy Taxi 2 was finally released, however I have not been as pleased with it as I could have been. There are some new features - such as the ability of the car to jump, two completely new places to drive around, and the possibility of picking up multiple passengers, but I think that more ...  Read the complete review

Crazy Taxi 2 (DC): Crazy Taxi 2 is out you know! (393 words)

Ah, sequels. Some are absolutely rubbish, some milk out a series and some add to the original brilliance of the previous title, and thankfully Crazy Taxi is a game that more or less does the latter of those! Crazy Taxi set the scene and was quickly hailed as one of the most original Sega games of all time - arcade perfect conversion, and an extra city! Well, in Crazy Taxi 2, the graphics and music have been improved, four new cabbies have replaced the old ones and we've now got a New York kind of city to jump around in! The new feature Crazy Jump really does add a lot to the game, we've also got a whole new selection of Crazy box style ...  Read the complete review
