... actually employs some thought, because the drivers will suit you better depending on what fares and what types of route you like doing - bumpy rides that require a sturdy vehicle will lend themselves better to some of the heavier drivers, whilst a breakneck bomb down the street might make you want to pick one of the sleek female drivers. Oh, and don't forget there's other cars, and of course, other people (although, disappointingly, you can never run them over!) to avoid if you want to get the top score. As a packag...more

Premium Review Crazy Taxi 2 (DC): How Crazy are you?? (382 words)

To many, paying £30 to drive around in a taxi doesn't sound too appealing, but Crazy Taxi 2 proves everyone wrong. Crazy Taxi 1 was a great success and has been converted to PS2 and Gamecube to prove it. If Crazy Taxi 2 lived up to its older brother, then it would be a good a game as any on the Dreamcast. Crazy Taxi 2 has an improved game structure, meaning that it doesn?t let you play the arcade modes until you have completed key parts of the training. CRAZY PYRAMID This is the training zone for everyone new to Crazy Taxi. This area is full of mini fun activities that are vital for you to become a taxi legend. Each stage gets ...  Read the complete review

Is it just me or is driving a taxi at insanely fast speeds through crowded, busy streets and taking passengers to place extremely fun? I think not. Crazy Taxi 2 is the sequel to an acclaimed title which was one of the star releases for the Dreamcast, by Sega. Both Crazy Taxi and Crazy Taxi 2(CT&CT2 from now on) are made by Sega and both feature highly addictive and enjoyable gameplay, and yes, your mother won't mind. What truly separates these two titles? Read on to find out. Gameplay: 3 CT2 differs from CT in only a few areas when it comes to gameplay. The most noticeable part is the Crazy Pyramid and the new levels. The Crazy Pyramid is just like the ...  Read the complete review

What made such a simple taxi game such a hit over here, and you’d think it would be boring for a nation like us don’t ask me why… I mean who wants to ship some fussy pedestrians around a city; it certainly doesn’t do anything for me. But then that isn’t crazy taxi, the funniest driving game ever. Instead of just being exactly what I said before crazy taxi lets you do so much more. But this is the sequel, with more fun, craziness and above all addictiveness. What makes Crazy taxi 2 so different from the first mouth-watering game is the way they realized what was wrong and how they added new things to make it a whole new experience. ...  Read the complete review

For the second installment of the world's craziest game we have now been treated to an extra city, 4 whole new cabbies and some cool new moves!! Crazy Taxi 2 is very much like the fantastic original, with the premise being much the same thing, but here it gets a whole lot more exciting - in the first game you could only pick up one passenger at a time, something that kind of got annoying as you just wanted to pick up more people, and thankfully one of the best new features in the new game is having the ability to pick up more than one passenger at a time, really excellent in my opinion! This will save you time, and earn you even more money!!! Crazy ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Crazy Taxi 2 (DC): Quite simply not as fun as Part 1. (734 words)

WE'RRRRRRRRRRE BACK! Announces him at the start with no name, for the second installment of the Crazy Taxi series. About a month before this game was released, myself and a friend agreed that this would be one of those games without a sequel, because quite simply, what could you put in a sequel? So when a sequel was announced, we were both worried. Could the game be improved enough to warrant spending another £30? Yes and no. The first time I played Crazy Taxi in the arcade, I fell in love with it. The action, the intensity, you just wanted to do better. If there's one thing I've noticed with Crazy Taxi 2, it's that you just ...  Read the complete review
