Dreamcast in general (DC)

It may be true that the Dreamcast sales started off slowly, but it has now become the best selling Christmas console, and has some absolutely astonishing titles available for it now! I got mine just a week ago, and despite rumours of the Dreamcast's 'death', it has proven to be the best console I have ever owned! I have a Playstation, I've only got 23 games for it but I'd gladly sell it today for cash so I can buy some of the great Dreamcast games available at the moment! The first thing I'd like to say about consoles is the way they are pre- judged when they are exposed to the public through the press. Often so they have the specifications on each console and this is the only means of judgement on the performance of a specific system, just cause one has superior hardware than the other doesn't mean the gaming machine turns out to be better. Although it can be the case at times, Dreamcast is a console system that definately shouldn't be judged in that way. When I first ever heard about the Dreamcast I knew I had to own one. Regardless of what people say, the Dreamcast is and will be the BEST console around for ages yet despite the imminent release of the poor Playstation 2 console. The reason for it being the best console around is that it is so flexible and well designed. It works in a similar way to a high spec PC but it is far easier to run. In fact, the console runs on Microsoft Windows CE which makes it that little bit more like a PC but there is no desktop or little icons, it just makes development for the system a lot easier.
