Advantages: enhanced game play, online capabilities, enhanced sound and graphics

Disadvantages: few games, few developers, few online games

The Dreamcast is a great system that was built very well. It's too bad it did not get more credit, because it was a great system and could've been so much more. It had a lot of potential to be a great system, but bad ratings and reviews, along with the launch of the PS2, brought this system to its downfall. But I'd say most of the games made for this system were good ones. Also, the VMU unit was a nice addition because it added fun mini- games and many other fun add-ons. Overall, the dreamcast was a very innovative system which marked a new era in video gaming history.
