Advantages: Great games and the price tag
Disadvantages: Its slowly dying
Well the Sega Dreamcast is nearly dead but there is a great game coming out for it soon called HeadHunter proabably one of the last. I got my Dreamcast from Electronic Boutique for the small sum of £120, This Dreamcast is a brilliant games machines and worth getting even if it is dead.
Setup
Setup was so easy just like plug and play, quite a few wires to put in and 4 controller ports wow comapred to the Playstations lousy 2 wanting you to buy a multitap.
So I put the wires in correctly and i was up and playing in no time.
Games (the ones i like)
Crazy Taxi-well this is coming out on Playstation2 and it probably will be better but Crazy Taxi for me is great game, loads of gameplay and loads of fun. It kept me addicted for days
MSR (Metropolis Street Racer)- This is way better than Gran Turismo and the best on the Dreamcast by a mile a really slick and graphically sound racer. Definitely worth buying if you own a Dreamcast.
Jet Set Radio- Another excellent game, based on spray painting, it sounds dull but its certainly playable the only bad thing is that a character has a stereo permanently stuck to his shoulder.
Resident Evil Code Veronica- This to is coming out on PSX 2 and looks a bit better, but this game from one of my all time favourite series never fails to impress, the graphics are good and it is really playable as with all resident Evil's it is worth getting. another top quality game from Sega.
Well I wont go through every single game ever made beacuase that would be broing and i don't have the time unfortunately but the Dreamcast is an amzing piece of equipment, its not as hyped as the playstation2 and maybe not as good but its cheaper and has better game at the moment and for £100 and games fro a a tenner I suggest you buy it.
Oh yes it got online capabilities and they are good easy to connect but not much content, Phantasy Star online the best game ever?
