Daytona USA 2001 (DC):
... familiar theme tune still exists in the latest incarnation of Sega's classic racer. Daytona is the racer with a handling system unlike any other and it's this that presents most of the challenge in the game, whether this is a good or bad thing is up to the player as some will no doubt struggle with controlling the vehicles. But it has to be said that even battering the cars round corner... Read the full review: Daaaytooonaaa by Closs |

F1 World Grand Prix (DC) ... World Grand Prix For Dreamcast This formula 1 racing game follows the 1998 racing season. Therefore, all the 11 teams and 22 drivers are set out as they were in that year. At the time of the game’s creation, the Williams team did not have two drivers, so one of the drivers for the Williams team is listed as, “Williams Driver.” The game has 4 main playing options which are, Single race Championship Time attack Match race (2 player option) If you are looking to just have a short go on the game, the single race option is just the ticket. However, if you want to follow the season from start to finish, you may want to enter the championshi... Read the full review: Be the F1 world champion by Cowboy22 |

Metropolis Street Racer (DC) ... I thought that I should buy some Dreamcast games before they all disappear off the shelves. So when I was in Woolworths I saw MSR at £19.99, which I thought was a good deal. When I took it to the till the lady said that it had been reduced to £14.99. Even better! I got home and put it in. At first I was put off because it did take quite a while to load asking you to read a bit about not racing around real streets as it is illegal and setting the time (how weird). Finally you get to putting in your name (which I think that I can do) then you come to a screen where I was drawn to ‘your garage’. Before I pressed the button I wondered what kind of ... Hydro Thunder (DC) ... this were a good game, I'd praise it. But I wont because it's crap. One day, there will be a good motorboat game, and to be frank, this isn't it. Hydro Thunder lacks even basic functions required for good games - innovation, options, thrills and creativity are all lacking in this wonderfully flawed spectacle of the water-racing genre. Originally released in the arcades, Hydro 'Thin'der has subsequently joined the Dreamcast, Playstation and N64. The combination of a rushed and multi-format release has diminished this games already low score. The linear aspect of the game also reduces the score, e.g. Enter the only available race; Finish 5; No... Read the full review: If this were a good game, I'd praise it. by |
