Ecco the doplin is to most video games what a sit down
protest is to a full-on riot: it's calmer, its chilled out,
it's tranquil. Apart from those frantic moments when
you're stuck deep under ground and running out of air
, of coures, but from the very first level onwards it's
clear that this is a game you're going to play . you're
going to look forward to reaching the next level to
see what wonders are in store there. If you want to
hang back and just see who high you can jump for an
hour thats fine, If you want to see how many fish you
can eat thats fine too. even boss confrontations
generally dont envole direct attacks . instaed, you
need to figure out how to turn the enviroment against
your aggressors. it's nicer that way ther's less to get
worked up about and the chill out factors remains.

but do yourself a favor and check ecco out even if it
doesn't look like your cuo of tea, because its would be
a shame to miss out on one of the most original games
on the dreamcast. if it doesn't floatyour boat fine, but
give the dolphin a chance, alright?
