Advantages: Superb graphics, realistic
Disadvantages: Skies
F355 is yet another classy racing game around on the 128but monster consoles, unfortunately for Yu Suzuki – it’s on the now rid from the shelves Sega Dreamcast, and can be bought second hand or even new from sites across the country for as little as £10, maybe even less. But for you, that is a brilliant price – the game is shear class, one of the best racing games around – comparable visuals to the mighty Gran Turismo 3. The game features official tracks from across the globe – mostly Japanese circuits, but of course Monza is included – Italy’s f1 track. The cars look very realistic with excellent lighting effects, without being over shiny. You only have a choice of racing F355s, but that’s not such a problem, although I do feel a Ferrari racing game with all the models would be impressive. Racing an old Testarossa against an F60? Fantastic! Plus points: Graphics, they really are superb, with great sound too. Handling, it’s tricky but rewarding, the handling is very realistic. The official licence, the game is one of the only Ferrari games to achieve a licence. Lighting effects. Price! Downsides: The skies may look great, but they cheat – can’t be earth I’m racing on, must be Monza in a country with at least 4 suns! Play the game you’ll know what I mean. Only one car! Overall, well worth your money. 5 stars.
