Fur Fighters (DC) Dreamcast Game

Newest Review: ... Games-master award it 90%, saying it’s “The most satisfying gun action around... …it’s literally a ... more

... blast.” Which is absolutely correct! Arcade award the highest score – on a 5 star rating they give Bizarre Creations little cracker a superb 5/5 “Fur Fighters is Fantastic”. I personally think that this is a delightful game, on of the best ones around. There’s a multiplayer mode as well as single player so even when you complete the 36 fantastically designed levels, you will still be able to play in the 2-4player modes - great fun, just like Golden Eye whereby you select a leve...more

Fur Fighters (DC): Fur Fighters (422 words)

Fur Fighters, a game that is now available for just £7.99 from offline stores, as well as online – from such places as Special Reserve, and really is a must have title even at 3 times that price – under £10 is an absolute bargain and you really should take advantage of this incredible offer!!! So, firstly, what do the magazines say? Edge – one of the most popular all format gaming magazines rates Fur Fighters at 8/10, a very high score, they rarely give 9’s and I can’t remember when a 10 was awarded, so 8 – very good score – quote: “One of the best titles on Dreamcast”. Games-master award it 90%, saying ...  Read the complete review

Fluff in Fun Factor (346 words)

Fur Fighters, oh dear, I warn you now – my opinion may not be in the same belief as others, but it’s my opinion, so there. I don’t like this, I don’t like this for many reasons, but mainly because the game is aimed at children – the cute and cuddly Furry animals in the game, but then they go around shooting each other with plasma guns, shotguns and all sorts – it’s basically not at all for children, but at least it doesn’t have gallons of blood in the game. There are two modes, the fluff match and then the single player adventure – mission mode. You pick one of 6 characters, fur fighters suggesting that ...  Read the complete review

Fur Fighters (DC): Turok fluffed up!!!! (241 words)

Having had this for a week I may be saying this prematurely, but this is the Turok game for the Dreamcast, only with a duck(could be a penguin),dog, cat, kangaroo, dragon and firefox. This i have been waiting for since the Dreamcast came out and the wait was worth it.The levels are big, graphics are brilliant, guns are sometimes outrageous(not all of them, there is still the obligatory pistol and shotgun) and it saves whenever you change character.Turok's weak spot, not enough save points.Changing characters is vital to the game and saving each of the fur fighters babies, and don't worry, there isn't one character you won't get the hang of like some other multiple ...  Read the complete review

FUR BALLS TO THIS (243 words)

Fur fighters is a game where you are a type of spy, but as an animal instead of a human. You can choose from six characters each having it’s own special ability/moves. You can and will need to change your character in telepoints within the level. Each character starts off with 100 life points, but after a few hits from the enemy you will soon be flat on your back dead. Basically you make your way around different areas shooting the enemy and collecting guns/ammo and tokens. Tokens are required to gain access to other “hubs”. Along the way you will need to complete a number of tasks and puzzles, some of which are easy and other more ...  Read the complete review

Fur Fighters (DC): It fluffs it's opponents! (268 words)

Now, the title 'Fur Fighters' doesn't sound too appealing does it? But once you actually play the game, (especially the multiplayer which is amazing) you begin to get hooked. It is basically Turok/Goldeneye, only this time with a dog, cat, kangaroo, dragon etc. The levels are massive (and can be very difficult sometimes), the weapons you can get are outrageous (although, there is the good 'ol pistol in there too), such as the 'Plasma Cannon' and 'Freeze Gun'. Of course, how could I forget one of the best things about the game out of it, the interactive scenery. For example...if you shoot a pipe in the wall next to your opponent, ...  Read the complete review
