Premium Review Half-Life (DC): Voted best game of the year....... MORE LIKE BEST GAME EVER ... (538 words)

My opinion: I think that Half-Life is best PC game ever. It is fun and very addictive. It also has many online features like Team-Fortress or Counter-strike. The only bad thing is that it could have been a lot longer. It is easy at first, then grows harder and harder. This is a truly great game that a professional gamer should have. Story line: The story line of Half-Life is well thought up. The story starts were you are a scientist called Gordon Freeman. You work at a secret labratory with other scientists and security guards. One morning you go to work to take part in a top experiment but computers keep crashing so something is ...  Read the complete review

For those of you who have never heard of the game Half-Life, go away, you are not worthy of reading this preview! For those of you who have, and also own a Dreamcast, run along and shake the hands of those nice men and women at Sierra Studios. Expected this November, this Dreamcast reincarnation offers a real treat, even if you've completed it for the PC. Why? Apart from superior controls, the Dreamcast version offers a brand new single player experience. When Sierra and Valve announced that Half-Life would be coming out for the Dreamcast they said, "By partnering with Sega our intention is to create an incredible new version of Half-Life that takes full ...  Read the complete review

Half-Life was a practical revolution in gaming the graphics were fantastic but most importantly the people were intelligent, they did not do dumb things and worked together to get you, the assassins are also very clever but one they have a grenade from your MP5 in there face there soon up the wall. The weapons in this game are also very good; you are equipped with an exiting array of weaponry in the game: Crowbar Hand Gun Python Hand Gun MP5 Machine Gun/ Grenade Launcher Shot Gun Crossbow The 357 Grenades Satchel Charge Laser Trip Bomb Snarks Rocket Launcher Hornet Gun Egon Gauss Gun This gives you ...  Read the complete review

Half-life is seen by many as the best game ever. I'm dont usually play shoot-em-ups and I'd usually not include them in my list of great games but Half-life makes it. There are so many different things which make Half-life great. The interactivity with the game makes it very playable. You can talk or interact to many different things. For example, you can turn on and off lights, talk to "friendly" people and many other things. Its like a mix between a RPG (roll-play game) and a shoot-em-up. You have to do certain things in order to move on. Another great thing is that there are litterally thousands of downloads, add ons and patches. You ...  Read the complete review

What else can I say? if you want non-stop action, an mind blowing plot that slowly uravels as you play and a good laught blowing apart people's dead bodies with a machine gun then this is the game for you!Half-Life is a truly fantastic game. It re-invents the First Person Shooter Genre. This game is basically an interactive movie. You take to role of a Scientist named Gordan Freeman who works for a company in New Mexico called Black Messa. everything seems normal until an experiment involving the Anti mass spectrometer goes horribly wrong. Its up to you to battle your way past Aliens as well as the Government to safety. But thats not all... i won't say any more ...  Read the complete review
