Advantages: Great Gameplay
Disadvantages: None!
Half-Life was a practical revolution in gaming the graphics were fantastic but most importantly the people were intelligent, they did not do dumb things and worked together to get you, the assassins are also very clever but one they have a grenade from your MP5 in there face there soon up the wall. The weapons in this game are also very good; you are equipped with an exiting array of weaponry in the game: Crowbar Hand Gun Python Hand Gun MP5 Machine Gun/ Grenade Launcher Shot Gun Crossbow The 357 Grenades Satchel Charge Laser Trip Bomb Snarks Rocket Launcher Hornet Gun Egon Gauss Gun This gives you a good range of weapons for a very big range of scenery and situations that you will come across…. This brings me to the plot of the game; it has a well thought out one at that! You start of as a normal scientist (Gordon Freeman) and you have to work your way round the lab and get your bio-suit on and go to the test lab. This is where it goes wrong and you find yourself battling through the labs and bunkers of the underground facility, all this wile the government troops have been sent in to clear the whole place as the aliens who have been brought to this word via means of your experiment going very wrong! The last place you go is into the actual world of the aliens and you eventually have to kill the big guy who is in charge there… For the new gamers or to just get you used to the keys there is included in the game a hazard course to help you with those skills in jumping etc. which in some games you can never really get the hang of! All in all this is a brilliant game for the experienced gamer or the new game its splendid graphics and stunning reality of the people will keep you interested through the whole duration of your playing time.
