Advantages: Has lot's of on-line features.
Disadvantages: Clould have been longer.
My opinion: I think that Half-Life is best PC game ever. It is fun and very addictive. It also has many online features like Team-Fortress or Counter-strike. The only bad thing is that it could have been a lot longer. It is easy at first, then grows harder and harder. This is a truly great game that a professional gamer should have. Story line: The story line of Half-Life is well thought up. The story starts were you are a scientist called Gordon Freeman. You work at a secret labratory with other scientists and security guards. One morning you go to work to take part in a top experiment but computers keep crashing so something is wrong, anyway the experiment takes place. But you make a mistake and something seriously goes wrong. Everything is falling down and blowing up. For a second you see monsters, then they dissaper. From there you try to get out of the building but entrances are blocked and monsters are trying to kill you. On the way getting out. You see the military. Then they start shooting you. So that no one finds out what has happened. From there you have many obstacles in your way and everywhere is a struggle to survive. It's the scientists against the military and the monsters are against everyone. Trust no one. Graphics, sound etc: The graphics are clear and smooth. The sound is ... well amazing, great and funny, all at once. There are sound-afects to bullets hitting monsters and other humans talking to you. There is sound to every thing. On-Line features: As I said there are many on-line features. Most are official. The most played on-line game in the world is Team-fortress, hosted by half-life. This is were you have 2 team shooting each other but at the same time, trying to capture each others flags. With a wide range of maps to play, this is a great-online game. The other main game is counterstrike. The name says it all. This game has especially go
od graphics. The object f the game is were 2 teams are battling it out, 1 team terrorists, 1 team counter-terrorists. Each level has a different object, for example one level object is were the terrorists have to plant a bomb and another is were counter-terrorists have to save hostages. Both of these games can both be found on the biggest gaming network in the world. Wireplay!. Who is this game for ?: Age wise, this game has a lot of gore so I suggest you would have to be over 15 to play. Difficulty wise, this is a great starter game to a new game player or this could suit a professional game player. Over all: This is a great game, and should be bought straight away if you truly love playing great games. There is also a second game to Half-Life, Half-Life opposing forces. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, I hope this has been useful to you in some way. By sean-kenny.
