The first thing you notice about Incoming is the graphics. The game starts with a wonderful old arcadey style of going through computer demos with the menu overlayed on top, just like back in the day :) Incoming is pretty much a game about blowing sh*t up. Forget the stupid storyline, forget everything else, Incoming is just a graphically intensive blaster. Shoot anything that moves (almost). The first level of the game is a perfect example of the gameplay which you'll find throughout the rest of the game. Basically, I felt like a well hard geezer. It's not a bad thing, even these days, to have a game that involves shooting things and not a lot else. Most modern games require maps or important strategies that keep you up all night then frustrate you when you can't win. Incoming involves shooting aliens and getting bigger guns to shoot aliens and that's about all there is to it! The general plot centres around you using various craft to destroy alien space vehicles that are attacking earth, you do this by using your main and secondary weapons to blast them to bits in a series of satifying explosions.
