Ever since I saw the screen shots I knew this game was a winner; it is just beautiful. They use a special type of graphics called Manga design which makes the graphics look more impressive than most new PS2 games. The Manga shading makes the animation extremely cartoon-like. The games’ upbeat amazing sound track is also extremely good in comparison to most other computer games; the best tracks on the game are by Jurassic 5 (“Improvise”), Rob Zombie (“Dragula”) and Cold (“Just Got Wicked”); a lot of the others are like Japanese hip-hop tracks. You start off the game as a young wannabe kid named Beat who wants to set up a new gang called the GG's, who want to establish their tag over their rival gangs. Firstly you need to find members to join your gang; a girl named Gum and a bloke named Tab start your gang off on the streets of Tokyo-To in Asia. Your mission is to find the paining tags paint over them whitin the time limit. This is the basic idea of the game and what you have to do from there on is follow the story as it gets much harder when you go against rival gangs and you explore other gangs’ turf until you eliminate them. This sounds all to easy. Well it’s not. When you paint a certain amount of tags the police are onto you and escaping from the law (Tanks and Riot police) is not gonna be as easy as you think it is.One of the cool things the game offers is the ability to create your own graffiti and to connect to the internet and download graffiti that other people have created. The game has its flaws however. It may have an amazing soundtrack and really impressive graphics but there are a lack of modes of play: it only offers a tutorial set around one level or a new game option. This was one of the most disappointing factors about the game because if you get stuck it is most likely going to get very frustrating; the only way in Jet Set Radio to complete a level is to keep trying until you pass - which c
an get repetitive. Generally a good but most should possibly try before they buy... TOTAL: 7/10

I was thinking about getting a Dreamcast just for Phantasy Star online but now with another honest review I might look into a lot more of the Sega games. Top Review Mate, and I have only known you for 5 minutes!
