November was a hard month for all other consoles as it saw the release of Playstation two. But at the same time Dreamcast were releasing what I think is the most original game of last year, it has great game play, stylish characters huge levels with excellent player and level graphics extra ordinary player presentation. I have only been had a Dreamcast for about two months and have already brought this game, I saw the game in Games Master magazine and said to myself this is a must buy. So when I finally got my Dreamcast I bought it from a local dealer and I have been playing the game ever since! I still have not completed it but I'm right near the end one or two levels to complete and I still need to get the last character. Firstly I will tell you about the characters.

You start with Beat the founder of the GG's but before you start spraying you have to get some crewmembers. First you meet Mew and no it is not the pokemon, she says if you can pull off the moves that she does she will join you. Once you have copied her she joins you but then another character comes up Tab, he is a good all-round character who wears overalls and a woolly hat. Beat wears black trousers, yellow glasses and a yellow top. Beat has about average stats; Tab is a good player but has not so good graffiti. Mew is a girl and wears a pink dress each player has a bar for life another for technique and one more for graffiti Mews life is half technique three quarters and graffiti just over half. This makes Mew a good player but I'm sure other characters will have something to say about that. After going through a level or so up comes a rival called Gum she wears a white dress with a stripy shirt underneath her health lets her down but she has good technique and excellent graffiti.

Next comes my favourite player Garam he wears shorts and has fly eyes which make him look cool his strength is his strength he has over three quarters of it but technique and graffiti are v
ery poor. Yo-Yo challenges you to a race first to graffiti a wall that is far away, I found doing tasks like this the most difficult as the computer player leads you astray then zooms ahead of you but when you find the route out it makes it very easy to complete. Finally Yo-Yo joins you his clothes are a yellow hooded jacket and black trousers. The thing that impressed me most about Yo-Yo is, his graffiti, which is very high and almost, full but this means something else has to be low and unfortunately they chose his life.

Now a very cool character turns up Combo a big built bloke who carries a big radio with him, his life is so close to being full they might as well have put it as full the makers have decided to put his technique down this time which means he has good graffiti. This is what makes me choose Combo most of the time. Then comes Combos mate Cube who is in all black and is probably the most average player on the game. The latest person who has joined me is Piranha who has excellent graffiti and life but very poor technique she wears white trousers and a white shirt.

The last player is Slate. He has a very big nose but excellent graffiti good health and technique. Slate is a very tall character with stripy trousers and a shirt. Slate is a very good character with some good tricks he is now my favourite character.

Next I will talk about the levels lets start with, Kogane a group of houses with sewers and lots of hidden areas for example most of them you go through a house or lots of houses to get to the next area. These houses usually have health or spray cans in them on each level there are little signs which if collected and the level completed get you extra tags, which if you didn't know are graffiti. This is a nice addition to the game also you can make up your own graffiti. Which can sometimes be a very long and tedious process.

Benten-Cho is a very big level with lots of grinding rails, this level is one of
the hardest to complete whatever the task. This is the level where you have to race it is very annoying. It has a secret subway where you can go to different parts of Benten-Cho. Almost all of the grinding rails have spray cans on them, which can only mean one thing that is a lot of spraying. The level were you have to defeat all of a gang is very good but took me a while to do.

Shibuya-Cho a level with lots of high jumps grinding rails and back alleys this level is basically the same as the other two but higher and further jumps to do. Which makes this level a very hard level.

There are two levels were you are taken to because of the rhinos a gang which hate you and want a disc which you have. My favourite level is one of the secret levels you will have to buy or borrow the game to find out.

Overall this cool game which should be bought by the lot of you! The original game play and graphics make this game a brilliant game if only it had a two-player mode like Tony Hawks two.
