Advantages: the graphics

Disadvantages: music is limited

This is a much improved game from the first one. Its start is great and you can play so many different games on it.

THE START:

It is easy and simply to install, it is quick even on my slow computer. It is based on jimmy white's house and has good effects. You go in and it has books which record all the game information e.g. how many games you have won and lost it also records all the big breaks you get. If you go forward at the start there are two slates on the wall. One has all the biggest breaks in snooker and the other has all the highest rankings you get in pool e.g. 86% shot rate. After you have looked at that it gives you two options, you can either go and play snooker or go and play pool.

SNOOKER HALL
A full size snooker table allows you to play the most realistic version of snooker ever made. The most accurate ball physics allows for spin, slide and swerve shoots. The most detailed of environments show the balls fall into the pockets and down runners. One of the most innovative of control systems allows you to actually cue with the mouse in the same motion as a real cue. Watch as the actual motion captured, jimmy white’s gloved hands re-create every hand movement required, including re-spotting balls, polishing them and even flipping a coin to start the snooker match. Wander around the most stunningly detailed rooms you have ever seen in a game and play with everything, including gorgeously recreated versions of darts, plus tons more.
You go in and you can do a choice of things. The things you can do are play snooker, play darts, play draughts and listen to different music selections. When playing snooker there is a choice of things to do. You can have a two player game, play the computer in which you play the worst person first and they keep getting better and than finally you play jimmy the best on the game. The other things you can do are have a practice game or trick shots. When playing darts there are m
any options you can either play by yourself or play the computer and you get to choose the difficulty level sadly you can not play jimmy at this, he is not that good. When playing draughts it is pretty much the same, you can not play jimmy but there are one player two player options. The graphics are really good in the snooker hall

THE POOL BAR

You can do various things in here they are:
1) PLAY POOL
2) PLAY SPACE IMPACT
3) LISTEN TO DIFFEREN KINDS OF MUSIC
4) DO THE LOTTERY
5) PLAY ON THE FRUIT MACHINE
The graphics in here are good as well
1) All the same stunning details as the snooker room, with such extraordinary attention to detail such as hearing the balls moving inside the table after potting, you will be flabbergasted. Everything is modelled in life like 3d right down to the light fittings and the food on the menus. Play the one arm bandit fruit machine, or even try the complete original space invaders arcade game, or perhaps use the lottery machine. 3-D environments do not come anymore realistic than this. When playing pool there are various things you can do, play a one-player game of 8-ball pool and 9-ball pool. You can do both of these on two-player game and against the computer. When playing against the computer the first person is the easiest and than they get harder and harder until you play jimmy white.
2) When playing space invaders you have to shoot loads of different things for certain things you get certain points and the more points you get the higher up the leader board you get. The whole point of the game is to get as far up the leader board as possible.
3) The music selection is limited but I personally feel they music selection is top class not quite the best I have heard but still good. You can choose three different types of music. None of the music is named.
4) The lottery is not much really you just get some money put it in and some balls come out but the idea is there.
5)
The fruit machine is truly awesome. You can gamble as much money as you like but go into debt so you just keep playing until you make a profit.
The thins that are recommended for this game are:
Windows 95/98
Pentium 200MHz MMX or higher, with 3d accelerator card
8x CD ROM 32Mb RAM
4Mb directX 6.1 compatible 3D accelerator card
directX 6.1 sound card
200Mb free hard disk space for game data

JIMMY WHITE’S HOUSE

The whole game takes place in a mock-up of the kind of house jimmy white probably lives in. the hall, and the snooker and pools rooms, are full 3D worlds. You can walk through them, look around where you are standing, and move into other parts of the house. The screen has a number of areas of information as well as the virtual reality into jimmy white’s house. The screen has a top score line and information at the top, a constantly changing status line at the bottom, a set of mode icons on the top left corner and than various types of game control icons grouped on the lower left screen area, although these change depending on which of the many games you are playing. There is also a great status bar so if you do not know what to do you just click on this. You can exit the game by using the escape menu door icon, or by clicking on the entry/exit doorway at the far end of the hallway room. But hopefully you probably will not need to use this because this game is very addictive and you will never come off. The game also has the Internet game, which is very good, if you are gain for a laugh.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME

If this about the PC version? If so, you can e-mail the category manager and they'll move it there if you like. Oh yeah, nice op.
