Disadvantages: Soundtrack Sucks, Possibly confusing fights, Same old 2-D scroller
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is an excellent two dimension scrolling fighter game. If you enjoy comic book characters blazing it out with your favorite Capcom fighters, then this game is definitely for you. The controls are similar to those of previous Street Fighter games, however there are a few more options available in this one. Each match starts with three fighters on each team. These fighters are chosen from the plethora characters available, 54 to be exact. As soon as the fight begins almost anything is possible. You have the ability to tag in one of your other fighters or just bring one of them in to help you out for a moment. The special attacks that are involved also leave you some choices for who does the pounding. One, two, or all three of your characters can be used to unleash their wrath on a weary opponent. Sometimes the controls can be a bit touchy and may take a little bit of getting used to. Otherwise, if you love old school two dimension fighters with an edge, you will cherish this game!
