Capcom is the only company now which is holding on to making 2D fighting games, there was a time when there was 2D fighting madness by all the major companies, even the simpsons ended up on arcade as a fighting game. But now only one company remains Capcom (their was SNK but they are now leaving this world, sniff sniff sniff, ah never forget my teenage years, missing school for Capcom and SNK games down the local arcade). Capcom now refuses to put the guns down on 2d fighting games. You see you have to still be into 2D fighting games in order to like this game.

If u haven`nt checked my review of MvC, please go check it now,MvC2 cannot be expressed in words, it is the most craziest, absloutely nutty 2D beatump, that I have ever played and enjoyed, were talking an absolute total of 56 characters, in this game, (of course you need to unlock the other 28 characters from the 56), gone are the 2D backgrounds, and now have been replaced with 3D instead, which looks superb, they now have a new control system, which works extremely well, which uses the four buttons on the dreamcast instead of 6, so you dont have to worry anymore of the dreamcast pad not having 6 buttons.

The character roster is simply amazing, it even has jill valentine from resident evil, a character from star gladiator, and more marvel characters, Cable makes a welcome in this game, as in the previous titles where it was 2 characters u can use in the game, and a third for a mini special, u can now have 3 characters, and do some serious combos. Anyone that owns a dreamcast must buy this game you will not be disappointed, its Capcom at its best, bring a couple of friends round and u will be on it for hours, it reminds of the day when streetfighter 2 came on the arcade.

One thing that may dissapoint people acording to peoples taste is the music, they have done a whole new style to it, some people msay hate it, some may love it.

mVc2 has to be the best 2D fighting game ever
in history, i don`t know how Capcom can make a title even better than this. Thanks again Capcom for an absolute stunner of a game.
