Power Stone 2 is a lot better than the original because it has more characters, enhanced gameplay and endless stockpiles of weapons, eg. from guns to bombs and from thumbtacks to special cards.

There are many characters you can use and a couple of secret characters to unlock - each character has two special moves that can only be used when, on the level, three coloured stoned have been collected (hence the name 'Power Stone'). Though at the beginning of each level each character starts with only one stone, meaning that you either have to find others or nick other peoples by bashing them to bits.

An excellent thing about the game is its adventure mode - after choosing a character you battle through a castle, one-on-one, with other characters and the occasional boss. Any item picked up in adventure mode becomes part of your stockpile whether it's used or not (hence the name 'Adventure'). At the item shop you can sell these items for gold, mix items to create new ones or, in the event of you finding clothing, change the outfit of each character. Any 5 items in your stockpile can be chosen to randomly appear in arcade mode or in verses mode.
